FC Road is one of the most sought after destinations in Pune city. It is
located in the inner west side of Pune. The road gets its name from
Fergusson College, an educational institute established in 1885. FC road
starts from Deccan Gymkhana and ends at Agriculture College. Since Pune
city is also considered as the educational hub.
FC road is one
of the most prominent localities for educational institutions right from
colleges to private coaching classes. Department of Communication and
Foreign Languages – Ranade Institute, IMDR, MMCC & BMCC commerce
colleges, Gokhale Institute for statistics, Modern college are some of

rent and for PG for students. The flats on rent are usually on sharing
basis with 3 to 4 students share the same flat. There is a constant
demand for properties on rent by the students. Also FC road is very
popular among the youngsters as it is considered as one of the favorite
hanging spot.

it prime for having commercial establishments like shops, showrooms,
hotels, restaurants, offices on this road. Chains like Barista, Cafe
Coffee Day, Subway and Monginis have outlets here. Among the known

are Roopali, Vaishali, Wadeshwar, Savera, Sharvari, Shabri, Koyla, Yana
